Elton John - 2008-02-28 - Portland ME (HQ AUD)
As mentioned in my January 14 post, Sir Elton, in recent years, has mixed tours with his full band with solo acoustic performances. Having been to one of those in 1999, which is the story for another post, I'm amazed how he can play for over 3 hours with no break and no help. This amazing audience recording (you'll swear it's a soundboard), captures Elton in Portland, Maine on February 28, 2008, 2 years ago today. The set list is incredible, spanning Elton's entire career and includes some rare tunes, such as I Need You To Turn To and Ticking. This one is a must have!
