The disc marked a return to some of his early roots, as he once again collaborated with lyricist Bernie Taupin and drummer Nigel Olssson returned to the band on a full time basis. Elton received 3 Grammy nominations for the album, which climbed to #15 on the Billboard charts. This concert from October 25, 2001, 9 years ago today, captures Elton on tour in support of Songs From The West Coast.
