1982: Steve Miller released his 12th studio album, entitled Abracadabra, on June 15, 1982. The disc went to #3 on the Billboard charts, while the title track climbed all the way to #1 on the singles charts, his third song to accomplish that feat, with The Joker and Rock'n Me being the other two (Note - Fly Like An Eagle stalled at #2). This soundboard recording captures Miller at the Rock Werchter Festival just a few weeks after the release of the album, on July 4, 1982, 39 years ago today.
