Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - 2000-02-04 - San Jose CA (ALD Matrix)

CSNY 2000 - #1: When Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young launched their CSNY2K tour on January 24, 2000, it marked the first time the foursome had toured together since their turbulent 1974 reunion tour. Over a ¼ of a century had passed, which made their opening number each night, the legendary tune Carry On, both fitting and ironic. The set list for every show featured a mix of the band’s classics, as well as solo work from each member. Some nights, Crosby even reached back into his days with the Byrds to deliver an electrifying version of 8 Miles High. Throughout the tour, though, it was Neil who stood the tallest, stomping around the stage and providing the hard edge that CSN on its own sometimes lacked. Neil’s Rocking in the Free World and Long May You Run closed most nights, showcasing his diverse range of musical styles. I was fortunate enough to catch this tour on April 9 in New Jersey. Sheryl Crow 1999 - #1: In early 1999, Sheryl Crow was on tour in Europe in support of her 3rd album, The Globe Sessions, which had been released in September 1998. The critically acclaimed disc climbed to #5 on the charts and won 2 Grammy Awards. This FM broadcast captures Sheryl on February 2, 1999, 19 years ago today, in Lund, Sweden, just about 3 weeks prior to her Grammy wins. Dire Straits - 1992-02-02 - Oakland, CA (SBD)

Dire Straits 1992 - #1: After disbanding Dire Straits in 1988, Mark Knopfler reformed the band three years later in 1991. The released the album on Every Street later that year, which sold over 8 million copies and went # 1 on the UK charts while reaching #12 on the Billboard charts in the US. Despite that success, by comparison to their prior release Brothers In Arms, the new disc was both a critical and commercial disappointment. The band launched a massive 300 show, 2 year tour in support of the album. The strain of that tour, however, proved to be too much for the band, and in its aftermath, Knopfler dissolved Dire Straits for the 2nd, and final, time. This soundboard recording captures the band on that final run on February 2, 1992, 26 years ago today, in Oakland. Download Hosts Used By So Many Roads

I know that it can be frustrating to try and download a show, only to find the host doesn't work for you, or is extremely slow.

That said, I simply do not have the time to upload shows to multiple hosts, or split folders into smaller pieces to take advantage of some of the faster hosts. And I simply can't spend the money plan to pay for faster access or more storage space.

So, here's how we are handling all uploads:

• Any show under 500 mb goes up on zippyshare. 

• Anything over 500 goes on filefactory   

Is it a perfect system? No. But given the fact I have a life beyond this blog, it's the best I can do. Those 2 hosts work for me and are free. I apologize in advance if you have some issues with certain shows, but it's simply impossible to provide universal access given technology, geography, and time constraints.
