Wings Over America 1976 - #2: As promised, here's the 2nd half of our Same Tour, Different show entry featuring Wings Over America in 1976. This is the only complete soundboard recording from the tour, the final night of the run from Los Angeles on June 23, 1976, 45 years ago today.

one night five years ago or more i was on soulseek and i click on Wings , and a guy had all the 1976 wings'concerts in every town and every night,is still exist another sdb apart la forum boston and another one i don't remember which one ,just three actually, this tour was so magic!i saw wings in venice and munich and paris ,but munich was so fantastic ,is it possibly that the guy from soulseek was a roadie or sort of cause he had all the gigs from 76? Sorry for my english!!!

thanks speedy, this is better than the official, more atmosphere as you can clear the audience better although it never gets in the way of the sound on stage plus with officials you never know if it has been tampered with in the studio, those horrible inevidible overdubs,as is almost always the case. question,could this be one of those famous mike millard recordings ? his recordings sound superior than most soundboards, along with dan lampinski one of the most famous tapers in bootleg history, he had audience recordings down to a science used a very expensive Japanese cassette recorder with multiple mikes , His nickname was Mike the mic, could this be one of his shows as other blogs list this as one of them thanks so much
The notes with this say its a soundboard so that would rule out it being a Millard tape. But if it turns out its an audience, it would n not surprise me if its from Millard since the LA Forum was his venue of choice!
The audience seems more up in the mix and it sounds so much morevibrant and alive than the official for example didn't think that there were multiple versions out there which could mean a Millard tape. Have his Pink Floyd Show. LA sports arena show from april 26/ 75, absolutely this man was a master on how to record from the audience. one of the best f not the best audience recordings I have everheard better than most soundboards . maybe some of your other followers has some insight as to whether this show is one of his, maybe it says soundboard because it is so good you would think it was
This show plus the boston show posted here both outstanding. the way an audience recording should sound, Avoid the Detroit show from the same tour , terrible distortion cuts in songs crowd noise ecc, awful. Speedy is there anyway to post a show from Wings fall 1975 UK tour. they do Juniors Farm a real rocker for Paul and co all the links on guitars 101 are dead thanks a lot
What's the date on the Wings show? I'll see if I can find it.
I will look it up shortly and get back to you there are a few listed .don't know about the sound quality, have o go pick up my daughter from work, family responsibilities ,you know what mean im sure
