2010s - #1: On his 2016 tour, Bruce Hornsby brought both something old and something new to each show. He reached back to the past to feature 2 to 3 tunes from his debut album, The Way It Is, released 3 decades earlier. Then, for the first time live, he played several tunes on dulcimer, backed by band members on fiddle and washboard. This soundboard recording captures him during that tour, in Virginia on September 23, 2016, 6 years ago today.
