Sting - 1990-10-13 - Santiago, Chile (FM)
Welcome to part 2 of our Back to Back installment of Sting shows in South America in 1990. After playing the first Amnesty International show in Uruguay on October 10, Sting performed a second concert on behalf of that organization in Chile on October 13, 1990, 22 years ago today. Just months prior to this show, the 17 year long dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet had been replaced by civilian rule. Pinochet's regime had been characterized by systematic suppression of political parties and the persecution of thousands of dissidents. In fact, the very stadium where Sting performed had once been used as detention camp by the Pinochet government. The concert transformed the venue into place of hope for a future free of oppression. Download this one to complete your set of Sting performances, then visit Amnesty International’s website to see how you can contribute to their efforts to “stand up for human rights”.

hi there.
thanks again for the nice posts.
a request though.
please no more send space...
it took 30 minutes to download this file alone!
while at the same time the crosby and nash file at zippyshare was ready in 90 seconds!
seriously! these hosts make downloading a frustrating thing.
and that's a pity for all the hard work you have put into it.
all the best and big thanks!
william.
Unfortunately, zippyshare can only handle files less than 200 mb. For all larger files, I have to use sendspace or depositfiles or rapidshare, which are slower.
hi speedymjb.
i do understand.
but depositfiles and rapidshare are fast too!.
so that would have my priority.
i tried to d.l. this file once more with sendspace but again 44 minutes to go!
i would always suggest anyone to consider a premiumaccount for easy and fast downloading,
but since sendspace is so little used commonly for uploading,
it's not an option for me.
anyhow i'll stick to your blog.
for i already found so much great recordings in the last years. and i'm thankful.
so keep it up!
cheers.
william.
Would it be possible to post this again? The link is no longer working. Thanks so much!
new link is up! enjoy!
Excellent! Thanks!
