On October 26, 2016, Chuck Berry will turn 90 years old! He's been making rock & roll music since the term was first coined, releasing Maybellene way back in 1955! This FM broadcast captures him on December 31, 1988, 27 years ago today, ringing in the New year at The Palladium in New York City!

thanks for the show Speedy, great old school rock and roll by the master, by the way did you ever see the documentary hail hail rock and roll ? about Chuck , believe Keith Richards was in it and produced it as well, remember them argueing about how to play a song, great documentary , very insightful and very funny in spots with Chuck and Keith, ever see it ? believe it was during this time 88 or so , thanks again
