Formed in 2013, Joe Russo's Almost Dead (JRAD) one of the many Grateful Dead offshoots and cover bands that emerged in the wake of Jerry Garcia's death in 1995. This sounboard matrix recording captures JRAD on June 3, 2015, just 1 year ago today, at the the 6th Annual Songs Of Love Benefit Concert at Webster Hall. Songs of Love is a non-profit foundation that creates free, personalized, original songs to uplift children and teens currently facing tough medical, physical or emotional challenges.  A good friend of mine is on the Board Of Directors.
