As mentioned in our Muddy Waters post a few days ago, BB King was also elected to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 1987, as part of the largest class in the institutions's history! Hopefully, his legedary guitar, named Lucille, was included!
This FM broadcast captures BB in Boston on April 9, 1978, 4 dozen years ago today. Interestingly, the show takes place at the same venue as the Muddy Water's concert we just posted, Paul's Mall.
