Slowhand 2001 - Back To Back - #1: When Eric Clapton went oit in the road in 2001, he announced that it would be his last world tour. Fortunately for all of us, he changed his mind and continues to play live on a regular basis. At the time though, he recorded many of the his 2001 performances in anticipation of releasing a live album to commemorate his farewell from touring. In 2002, he did just that, releasing One More Car, One More Rider, a double live disc that featured tunes from his August 18 &19, 2001 concerts in Los Angles. This excellent audience recording captures him a few months earlier, in Paris, on March 20, 2001, 21 years ago today.
