GD 1976 - Back To Back - #1: In June 1976, the Grateful Dead made their triumphant return to live performing after a hiatus that had started in October 1974, after their 5 farewell shows at Winterland. Among the memorable concerts from their return was a run of 6 shows in July at the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco, their first live performances in their home town since the aforementiond 1974 Winterland concerts.
