The 1960s - #6: On the evening of October 25, 1962, 62 years ago today, the Beatles perfromed before a live audience at the Playhouse Theater in Manchester, for the BBC show, Here We Go, which was broadcast on the radio the following day. This was the first BBC performance by the The Beatles to include Ringo, who had joined the band on August 18. At the time of the show, Love Me Do had just reached #27 on the British charts.
