In the spring of 1986, Bob Weir rejoined his old pal Matthew Kelly’s band Kingfish for a half dozen or so shows in New York and California. Later that summer, with the Grateful Dead on hiatus in the wake of Jerry Garcia’s recovery from a diabetic coma, Weir again joined up with Kingfish for another short tour. This soundboard captures Weir and Kingfish on the 2nd night of that summer tour, on August 10, 1986, 26 years ago today, in Denver.
