Buffalo Springfield 2011 - #1: After their historic reunion at The Bridge School Concerts in October 2010, the Buffalo Springfield embarked on a brief 7 show tour in June 2011. This high quality audience recording captures night 1 of that tour in Oakland, on June 1, 2011, 4 years ago today. Long time fans of the band hoped this run would be the start of something special, but alas, things quickly fizzled out. Despite rumors of a major East Coast tour to take place later in 2011, the Springfield did not go back out on the road. In fact, by early 2012, Neil was back working with Crazy Horse, and Stills had planned a tour with Crosby and Nash.
