Incredibly in 1998, less than a dozen years after their commercial breakthrough with the album By The Light Of The Moon and their cover of La Bamba, Los Lobos were dropped by Warner records. The band, by the way, had not been resting on their laurels. In 1995, they released the critically acclaimed children's album, Papa's Dream. That same year, Los Lobos won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance for the tune Mariachi Suite. Unfortunately, mixed reviews for the album Colossal Head, released in 1996, led to their dismissal by Warner. In 1999, the band signed with Hollywood Records and released the album, This Time, This soundboard recording captures them on tour in support of that disc, in Philadelphia on May 31, 1999, 21 years ago today.

I tried two times to download the Los Lobos post this morning. Both times as the download started I got a message saying "your link may not be private; hackers may be trying to steal your information...". This has never happened to me before using a File Factory link. Would it be possible for you to look into this and possibly sent up a new link for this show? I have long wanted a copy of Los Lobos covering Fleetwood Mac's Rattlesnake Shake because I saw them play it live a few years back and they blew the roof off the place with their version. Thanks so much for all you do sharing this great music with us!
