Since Jerry Garcia's death in 1995 and the end of the original Grateful Dead, Phil Lesh has been among the most active of the former band members. Phil seems to always be out on tour, whether playing in one of the many Grateful Dead reunion runs (The Other Ones, The Dead, Furthur) or fronting his ever rotating cast of new band mates know as Phil & Friends. By the way, over the years, those friends have included such rock heavy weights as Jorma Kaukonen, Trey Anastasio, John Molo, Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, Joan Osborne, Derek Trucks, and Susan Tedeschi, just to name a few. This soundboard recording captures Phil & friends in Angel's Camp on May 27, 2000, 20 years ago today!
