I've seen David Crosby live 8 times - 6 with CSN (more on that tomorrow), once with CSNY and most recently, a solo show in 2015 a the Morristown PAC. Crosby is just one of 2 artists (Bruce Springsteen is the other), that I have seen live in 5 different decades (1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s). 

This soundboard recording captures Crosby in Germany on July 29, 1998, 2 dozen years ago today fronting CPR, a new band formed in 1996 that included Jeff Pevar on guitar and James Raymond, Crosby's son, on piano. The first song that father and son co-wrote was entitled Morrison, which expressed Crosby's feelings about the portrayal of Jim Morrison in the movie The Doors.
