Way back on January 6, 2004, Jam Cruise 1 sailed from Ft Lauderdale, with the Disco Biscuits, Peter Rowan, Jerry Joseph, Rob Wasserman and a host of other "jam bands" on board to entertain the passengers.  The tcruise was promoted by Cloud 9 Adventures, whose vision was to offers a broad range romote destination concert events and cultivate community centered around artists and their fans.  Over the years, artists such as Warren Hatnes, Derek Trucks, Steve Kimock, Hot Tuna, Mickey Hart and many more have participated, While the 2021 and 2022 editions were cancelled due to the COVID pandemic, Jam cruise 19 is scheduled to leave from Miami on February 6, 2023.  While we wait for that ship to set sail, here's a sounboard recording of Bob Weir and Rob Wasserman from Jam Cruise 9 from Janaury 4, 2011, a dozen years ago today.
