The Turtles 1979 - Back To Back - #1: The Turtles broke up in 1970, though the band co leaders,Howard Kaylan and Mark Volma, found a 2nd career as a musical comedy act known as Flo & Eddie. In the late 1970s, they began touring again as The Turtles, featuring Flo & Eddie. This FM broadcast captures them at My Father's Place in Rosyln on July 15, 1979, 47 years ago today.  By the way, on track 2, they reference seeing Jorma Kaukonen today - that's because Flo & Eddie led in on the afternoon of July 15 for Jorma at Belmont Park before playing this show at night!
