Hey Speedy,

If you look over on Reliquary they've got a Doors show from 1/24/69 that I've never seen posted before. I tried to get it but I can't figure out that blog's download system. Any chance you could get it and fit it into your posts for next week on 1/24? That show really should get into circulation, it's a 1969 Doors soundboard! Thanks!!

Speedy,

Thanks so much for linking this for me. You are certainly correct, this is not a soundboard, actually a rather poor audience tape. For collectors only but as you say complete Doors shows are rare. The first show I ever saw was The Doors, Fillmore East, 3/22/68 (2 weeks after the Fillmore had opened) so The Doors hold a special place for me. Thanks again for showing me the way!

Alan - glad I could help! And wow - The Doors in 1968 at the Fillmore East! That's incredible!

I still remember it as an amazing show. I recently found the set list:

When the Music's Over; Break On Through (to the Other Side); Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)-> Back Door Man -> Five to One; You're Lost Little Girl; Love Me Two Times; The Unknown Soldier; Not to Touch the Earth; Light My Fire

Not bad for a fifteen year old kid at his first show! Maybe some day the tape will surface.
