1980s - #3: Unlike the massive stadium tours that Led Zeppelin had embarked on in the late 1970’s, their 1980 European run consisted of just 14 shows in smaller venues. The set list incorporated 3 songs from their 1979 album In Through The Out Door - Hot Dog, All Of My Love and In The Evening - as well as the first performance of Train Kept A-Rollin since 1969. This soundboard recording captures the band on July 7, 1980, 43 years ago today, in Berlin, in what would turn out to be the band's final concert John Bonham would die from alcohol abuse about 2 months after the end of the tour at the age of 32.

Awesome! There's something about the 1980 Zep shows that I love... I guess it's that this was the end of the line, basically. One last hurrah!!
