Of all the band's to play Woodstock, few got as significant a career boost as Santana did. Their incendiary performance was featured in the movie and helped propel sales of their debut album, which would be released on August 30, 1969, to #4 on the Billboard charts. This soundboatrd recording captures the band later in that historic year, on their home tirf in San Francisco on December 18, 1969, 43 years ago today.
