2000s - #5: John Mellencamp has been using his music for good causes since 1985, when he founded Farm Aid with Neil Young and Willie Nelson. On April 27, 2007, 17 years ago today he perfromerd for another greatr cause, playing a set for over 2000 wounded US Soldiers, their families, and hospital staff at Walter Reed Medical Center.
