Bruce Hornsby 1997 - Double Play - #2: As promised yesterday, here's the 2nd half of our Double Play featuring Bruce Hornsby at the 1997 Furthur festival. This one is a soundboard recording from Toronto from July 9, 1997, 15 years ago today.

Thanks for the great post. I remember seeing Bruce play with the Dead several times as he filled in for Brent when he passed. Those were some very hot shows. It was obvious what a huge fan Bruce was and he seemed ecstatic to be up on the stage. I saw a couple of shows, if my faulty memory serves correctly, where both Bruce and Vince Welnick were playing at the same time. An especially hot show was in Auburn Hills, Mi. They seemed to have a great friendly rivalry and Jerry and the boys really seem to feed off it. Also caught the first three or so Further Festivals... very touching. Thanks again.
