Three years after releasing Back on Top, Van Morrison had another significant chart success with the album, Down The Road. The disc, released in May 2002, went to #26 on the Billboard charts, his highest charting album since Saint Dominic's Preview in 1972, 3 decades earlier! Similar to Back on Top, Down The Road features blues and R&B music, reflecting some of Van’s earliest influences.
