As promised, here's night 2 of the Dead's 3 show run at Winterland in March 1977. This one's a soundboard recording from March 19, 1977, 40 years ago today. The run features the band testing our tunes from their new album Terrapin Station, including the title track, Estimate Prophet, and Samson & Delilah. While these songs became staples of the band’s set lists over the next 18 years, in early 1977 they were fresh and new, and the future jamming possibilities seemed infinite. Download this one now, then come back tomorrow for the conclusion of the Winterland run, shows that set the stage for the now legendary Spring 1977 tour.
