In February 1988, Robert Plant released his 4th solo album, entitled Now and Zen. The disc went to #6 on the Billboard charts in the US and climbed to #10 in the UK, The album would eventually be certified triple platinum. In several ways, Now and Zen marked a return to Plant's time with Led Zeppelin. First, the disc integrated the blues into numerous tracks, unlike his prior solo album. Second, Plant actually sampled several Zeppelin songs including Whole Lotta Love, Dazed and Confused, and Black Dog. Finally, former Led Zep guitarist Jimmy Page played on 2 tracks on Now and Zen, Heaven Knows and Tall Cool One. This soundboard recording captures Plant on tour in suppport of the album in Philadelphia on May 23, 1988, 33 years ago today.

Thanks for this. I was at this show. If you can, please post Stevie Ray Vaughn's opening set. He had a powerful talk about "coming home from the party" after years of addiction. He'd be gone just over two years after recording this.
Tony - glad you enjoyed. Don't have SRV's opening set but hang on until July and you'll get a few SRV posts then.
