In the late 1950s and early 1960s, The Everly Brothers (Phil & Don) had three #1 singles - Wake Up Littel Suzie, All I Have To Do Is Dream and Cathy's Clown - and another 3 that went to #2 - Bye Bye Love, Bird Dog and problems. Their vocal harmonies and dual acoustic guitar stylings influenced artists such as The Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel and The Beatles. In 2003-2004, The Everlys toured with Simon & Garfunkel, joining Paul and Art on stage for several songs midway through each show. McCartney referenced the duo in his hit Let Em' In, listing Phil and Don among the numerous folks knocking on the door.
