The Byrds - 1970-07-04 - Rotterdam, Netherlands (FM)

When folks think of The Byrds, their first thoughts are usually of the distinctive sound of Roger McGuinn's 12 string.  McGuinn has gotten some recognition for his guitar prowess, ranking at #95 on Rolling Stone's 2011 list of the top guitarists of l time.  His band mate, though during The Byrd's live hey day from late 1969 through 1972, Clarence White, is often overlooked by casual fans. Rolling Stone, however, ranked White at #41 and #52, respectively, on its 2003 and 2011 lists of the greatest rock guitarists of ll time.
