George Harrison 1991 - Back To Back To Back - #1: In December 1991, George Harrison launched the 2nd, and final, solo tour of his career. Unlike his first tour 17 years earlier in 1991, Harrison avoided the glare of the US media, playing only in Japan. Long time friend Eric Clapton went along with George on this short 12 show run, playing back up for Harrison, while also stepping out front for 4 of his own numbers each night. This excellent audience recording captures George and Eric on December 10, 1991, 27 years ago today, on the 1st of 3 nights in Osaka. George plays a great mix of Beatle tunes and his own solo material. Moreover, hearing While My Guitar Gently Weeps live, with EC playing just as he did when the song was first recorded for the White Album, is a rare treat.
