In the wake of Led Zeppelin's end in 1980 as a result of the death of John Bonham, Robert Plant embarked on a solo career. He released 3 albums in the first half of the 1980s - Pictures at Eleven in 1982, The Principle of Moments in 1983 and Shaken 'n' Stirred in 1985. The first 2 albums both cracked the top 10 on the Billboard charts in the US while the 3rd reached #20, Plant went on the in support of Shaken 'n Stirred in January 1985, a tour that ran through Dece,ber 1986.
