After spending the early part of 1974 on tour backing Bob Dyaln, The Band once again found themseleves in a supporting role on September 14, 1974, 49 years ago today. CSNY headlined that day at Wembley Stadium iin London before a crowd of over 100,000, with opening acts Jesse Colin Young, Joni Mitchell, Tom Scott & The LA Express, and The Band. For CSNY, it would be their last show together for over 25 years. For The Band, it would be another monumental roc festival, to go along with their appearances at Woodtsock and Watkins Glen. The Band's set from that day has recently surfaced, and while its soundbaoard quality, trying to piece it all together is a bit of a mess. The download folder contains 3 long files, which are the entire show, though not broken into tracks. Also included are 11 individual tracks of the 16 played by The Band that day. If any one can split out the missing tracks it would be greatly appreciated.

First thing to note, Hard Times (The Slop) / Just Another Whistle Stop are one track. They performed the same combo at Varsity Stadium in Toronto a few days earlier.
I just downloaded the whole package and then compared the two versions. The complete version in 3 parts is kind of a mess. Sound quality is not very good and it seems to have some cuts or song overlaps from part to part. The 11 songs that are individual tracks are great quality and each song is complete. So while it would be nice to have the whole show, the 11 tracks seem to be the much more listenable option. So I just deleted the 3 parts and got an excellent quality (though partial) show. Thanks for posting this Speedy!
Thank you very much for this. Thanks for everything.
Thanks so much for this one! Do you plan on posting/reposting the other acts from this date? Like CSNY? Thanks again!
@Alan R - thanks for the feedback on the 2 sources
