As discussed in some posts over the last few days, Ringo did not appear at Woodstock as The Beatles declined (and/or were in no condition) to accept the invitation. But the former Richard Starkey found his way to the hallowed site exactly 50 years later, on August 16, 2019, 5 years ago today. Ringo and his All Star Band, as captured in this excellent audience recording, played at the Bethel Woods Center For The Arts, located at the site of the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fai. In addition to several different concert venues, the Center also includes a museaum dedicated to the !969 Woodtsock festival and the culture of the 1960s.
