In the late 1980s and early 1990s, WWSW-FM - branded 94.5 3WS - in Pittsburgh built a reputation as one of the premier "oldies" rock stations in the US. In fact, the station would hold an annual "oldies festival" which would fill the 60,000 seat Three Rivers Stadium each year. This FM broadcast captures The Grass Rots at the 1994 version of the festival on June 4, 1994, 31 years ago today. Also on the bill that day were Ronnie Spector, Jan & Dean, Get Back (a Beatles Tribute band) and James Brown.

Had the pleasure to see the Grass Roots in Hershey, PA opening for the Monkees. Rob Grill was a charismatic performer and the group's hits still sound great although you rarely hear them on terrestrial radio anymore. Any chance you could provide the other acts from this set? James Brown would be a find as he has few ROIOs floating around.
I've seen them twice leading in for Peter Noone in the post Rob Grill era. Still fun even if none of the band's original members are around. Sorry, this is all I have and could find from this show
