Expanding The Roster At So Many Roads

In addition to a monthly theme, one of the other things we've tried to do this year is expand the roster of artists that we have posted.  Yes, we have lots of favorites here that we post frequently, such as The Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Elton John, CSNY, etc, but its also fun to broaden our scope. In keeping with that thought, here's a list of artists for whom we posted shows for the first time here in 2012:

• January:  The Runaways
• February:  Jim Croce
• March: Paul Simon (solo), Roger Waters (solo), The Yardbirds and Loggins & Messina
• April:  Dusty Springfield and The Kinks (both as part of the NME Show)
• May: Greg Kihn, Squeeze and The B52s
• June: McGuinn, Clark and Hillman
• July: Stevie Wonder
• August: John Lennon (solo), Steppenwolf

This month, September, you'll see the first post for Ian Hunter, while October will include the initial shows from the Hollies, Joe Cocker and Warren Zevon.  Then in November and December, keep your eyes out for debut shows from Blood Sweat and Tears, English Beat, America, and Bob Marley.
