Double Bill At The Warfield 1989 -#1: For this Same Tour, Different Show entry we again get a bit creative as we feature the lead in band and the main act from the same night in San Francisco in 1989! In August 1988, following up on the success of Bring The Family, John Hiatt released his 9th album, Slow Turning. That disc featured such memorable tunes as the title track, Tennessee Plates, Drive South, and It Feels Like Rain. In fact, the album enjoyed even more commercial success than Bring The Family! This FM Broadcast, from January 24, 1989, 26 years ago today, features some of the best songs from both of those albums. By the way, the reason the set list is so short is that Hiatt was leading in that night for another artist who also broke into the mainstream in 1987 and released a follow up album in 1988. Come back in a few hours to complete this Same Tour, Different Show entry and find out who!
