Neil Young 2014 - #1 - In early 2014, Neil Young played 4 sold out shows at the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York. Designed by architect William Burnet Tuthill and built by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie in 1891, it is one of the most prestigious concert venues in the world. While usually associated with classical music, some of rock’s biggest stars have graced the stage at Carnegie Hall. The Beatles played 2 nights at the venue in 1964 during their first vist to the US. Bob Dylan played Carnegie both in 1961 and 1963. Jethro Tull. Chicago, the Beach Boys and Ike and Tina Tuner played the venue in the 1970s, along with a Canadian rocker who sometimes played alongside guys named Crosby, Stills and Nash! Yep, Neil’s shows in 2014 were actually a return trip to Carneige, as he had played the hall for two night in 1970, on December 4 & 5. This excellent audience recording captures the 3rd of Neil’s 4 shows in 2014, on January 9, just a year ago today. Thanks for the Neil Post Speedy, true rock legend seems timeless and ageless, like Dylan and Mccartney he just keeps on going, when the few legends either hang it up or pass on music as we know it will cease to exist. on another note don" t see Dino pinned to your other blog refferals anymore, has he hung it up again or is there another way to access him? also what ever happened to the Clock blog really miss them as well . thanks so much
Thanks for the kind words. Dino no longer blogs but you can find him on facebook at TunzMaster Dino, I think. Not certain as I don't use Facebook. Clock blog gave it up - takes lots if wrork and at some point, just too much time to keep going. I;m sure my day will come as well.
@ Anonymous - Unfortunately Bootleg Tunz World is gone, but there is a few of us chatters left hanging out at KMS Radio - and Dino stops in once in a while.

Speedy, just discovered two new blogs, Brooklyn Steve and Plumdusty , both have some great tunz,Plumdusty in fact has many shows by master taper Dan the Man Lampinski , His recordings are better than a lot of soundboards just like the Millard recordings from the same period. ever hear of those blogs ? thanks your blog is still number 1
Thanks for the kind words. I have heard of both. I don't link to. Brooklyn Steve because he sometimes posts official albums.. Plum dusty does have a wide range of shows but often not music that matches my taste. That said, both have tons of good stuff to dowload
I did notice Steve had many officials posted, not complaining but hate to see him risking his blog thought he got shut down before for the same thing. Also where can you purchace some of these officials that cause posts to br removed. Have you been to your local Best Buy lately, everyone who works there is a dummy and unless its the beatles or stones the only thing that you find in stores these days are greatest hits or best ofs,Dont mind paying for official music but what do you do when you cant find it because stores wont carry it or its out of print. found more on pirate bay in a week than in stores the last 5 years. unfortunatly they got busted but that dosent mean stores will now start carrying more music. What can you do to find these officials? thanks for all you do

Thats an option, Speedy whatever happened to the old fashion record shops , used to love to brouse for hidden treasures. today you cant find anything worth a crap
Unfortunately, the same wonderful digital age that lets us download all these great bootlegs put an end to the local record shop. The good & bad of progress
Maybe you were disappointed that you were at the next to last show at Shea...but you were at the Hulk Hogan/Ric Flair match at MSG when BOTH men won !!!
