As long time readers of this blog know, John Hiatt is one of my favorites, a singer song writer whose talents has been unfortunately overlooked by the public. In 2001, he released his sixteenth album, entitled The Tiki Bar Is Open. Backing Hiatt on the disc were The Goners, who also played on his 1988 disc, Slow Turning. This FM broadcast captures Hiatt & The Gones on tour in support of The Tiki Bar Is Open in Denmark on February 17, 2002, 13 years ago today.
