In December 1973, Bachman-Turner Overdrive released their 2nd album, the approximately, if not all that originally, titled Bachman–Turner Overdrive II,   The disc became a huge hit in the US, climbing to #4 on the Billboard charts.  The album also yielded two of the band's best known and most successful singles, Let It Ride and Takin' Care of Business, which went to #23 and #12, respectively, on the Billboard charts  This FM broadcast captures the band just 2 months after the release of BTO II, in Cleveland, on February 4, 1974, 42 years ago today.
