Grateful Dead - Back To Back 1980 - #1: In 1980, the Grateful Dead celebrated their 15th anniversary  and the shows during the 2nd half of the year, in San Francisco, New Orleans and New York that included an acoustic set, get most of the attention. But some pretty fine playing was going throughout that year, as evidenced by the fact that portions of the May 6, 7, 15 and 16 shows, the September 3 and 5 shows, and the November 28 and 30 shows, have all been officially released.  This soundboard recording captures the band near the end of that historic year, in San Bernadino on December 12, 1980, 37 years ago today.  Download this one, then come back tomorrow for part 2 of this back to back set.
