Another post that fits with our folk/country western theme for February! Back in December, we posted 2 shows from 1977 where David Crosby joined his former band mates in the Byrds, Roger McGuinn, and Gene Clark, for the first time in a decade. Today, we post another Crosby guest appearance from February 9, 1978, 34 years ago today, at a show featuring McGuinn, Clark and yet another former Byrd, Chris Hillman. This show would be the last time the 4 would perform together until their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991. For McGuinn, Clark and Hillman, however, it was just the start of a new chapter in the musical careers. The trio would continue to tour together for the next 2 years, and even produced two albums of new material. This soundboard recording captures that historic February 1978 performance in its entirety and is a must have for your collection.  By the way - this how is often listed as February 2 or February 8, but the book "Crosby, Stills, Nash and Sometimes Young" and  the site Wolfgang's Vault both list February 9 as the correct  date.
