Jimmy Cliff/Bruce Springsteen Connections

• Springsteen has been playing a cover Jimmy Clifff’s Trapped at live shows since the 1981 River tour. Springsteen’s version of the tune was even included on the 1985 We Are The World album. 
• In March 2012, at the SxSw festival, Jimmy Cliff joined Bruce and The E Street band on stage for a rendition of Cliff’s The Harder They Come. 
• Bruce & Jimmy Cliff both appeared in the Sun City video protesting apartheid in South Africa.
