The rock world lost a legend last night as David Bowie lost his battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
In memory of Bowie. we present a video one of our favorite musical moments from his long storied career, his 1977 duet with Bing Crosby on Peace on Earth/The Little Drummer Boy. Rest in peace.

Speedy , this just hurts so much dosent it? Heard the news early this morning from my daughter who burst into my room in tears. Although only in her early 20s she became a huge Bowie fan, has all his albums as well as every film he ever did, many forget that he was also a very good actor. Although not nearly as shocking i feel a very similar sadness to when Lennon was killed, As with John David just released a new album. No one except his very close inner circle aparently knew he was ill as he didnt want anyone to feel sorry for him which tells you all you need to know about his class and dignity. This will stay with me for some time as another true icon has left us and as you know there arnt many left. havent been able to keep eyes dry all day, to his wife and young daughter our prayers are with you

Wow this is shocking, had no idea he was sick, was looking forward to his new album, unlike many of his peers he aged gracefully not trying to act like he was still in his 20s pus he never lost his voice and sounded almost like he did in the 70s, a little bowie story.a friend of mine was in ny a few years ago with his teenage son and saw him sitting on a park bench reading the wall st journal of all things, when he asked for an autograph David coudnt have been nicer signing the autograph and even posing for a picture with my friend and his son, He said they talked for almost 20 minutes , David was not only an Iconic Rock Star but a first class human being as well. He will be sorely missed, the likes of him will never come this way again R.I.P. David
So sad David was not only a musical but a pop culture icon as well, when you hear these stories about his young daughter and thekind of person he was away from the limelight, makes you tear up, Speedy do you happen to have any Bowie stories? would love your insight thanks again
