In 1978,  Willie Nelson released the album Stardust. where he covered 10 legendary pop standards, such as the title track, Georgia on My Mind, Blue Skies and September Song. Stardust received rave critical reviews, and went to # 1 on the Billboard Country charts, as well as #30 on the magazine's top 200 album chart.  This soundboard recording captures Willie a year later,  on tour in support of that disc, on August 18, 1979, 38 years ago today.
