According to some sources, James Taylor, who was signed to the Apple label at the time, was invited to play Woodstock on the condition that the Beatles played the festival.  When the Beatles declined (more on that in a post later this month), the invitation to Taylor was pulled.

In any event, this soundboard recording captures Taylor over 3 decades after Woodstock, in Chicago on August 3, 2001, 18 years ago today.
