According to some sources, The Guess Who were invited to play at Woodstock but were unable to change their tour plans. This is somewhat corroborated by a Facebook post from Burton Cummings that laments not making the festival, but having fond memories of playing Seattle Pop along with Led Zeppelin and The Doors, 2 other bands that skipped Woodstock!
This soundboard recording captures The Guess Who just about a year after Woodstock, in New York on August 5, 1970, 49 years ago today.

thanks for this post. I saw Guess Who at Gaelic Park with Three Dog Night in either 69 or 70. It might have been this show. I can't recall which band opened. It was a good show by both bands.
