Whatever you do today, please take a moment to remember the innocent people who lost their lives in the tragic attacks on our nation that took place on September 11, 2001. It has been 18 long years, and while time has passed, the memory must never fade. In the end, freedom, justice, liberty, and virtue, the hallmarks of this great nation, will prevail against any and all terrorist threats, as Osama Bin Laden learned the hard way.
In the words of our greatest president, Abraham Lincoln:
"that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

Even if we are not american we remember. What's strange is that this event is maybe the only one where each person remembers where he (she) was and what he (she) did. My thoughts to all of people who died or have been wounded.

cheers for your remembrance, but i still had too many people ask me today, "why are the flags at half-mast?"
my company had just moved out of one of the towers about 3 weeks before (relocating to Norfolk) but say a prayer for all those who were just starting a normal workday......and never forget~
