2006 - In the summer of 2006, Steely Dan, a band that once went 2 decades without playing live, announced they would launch their 3rd tour of the new century. Billed as the Steelyard "Sugartooth" McDan and The Fab-Originees.com Tour, the itinerary included stops in 33 cites, opening on July 7 and wrapping up on September 4. Donald Fagan and Walter Becker put together a 10 piece band for the run, including Keith Carlock on drums, Freddie Washington on bass, and Jon Herington on guitar. In addition, sharing the bill with Steely Dan for the tour was former band member Michael McDonald, who of course later played with the Doobie Brothers. This soundboard recording captures Steely Dan on the last night of that tour, on September 4, 2006, 13 years ago, in St. Louis..
