The Dead - 2003-08-10 - Wantagh, NY (SBD)

In 2003, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann launched The Dead, the successor to the Other Ones and the 2nd band formed by former members of the Grateful Dead after the death of Jerry Garcia. The Dead would play together until Spring 2009. Jimmy Herring, Rob Barraco, Joan Osborne and Warren Haynes were part of a rotating crew of musicians supporting the former former GD members. This soundboard recording captures The Dead during their summer tour, at Jones Beach on August 10, 2003, 17 years ago today.   Download note - like the Other Ones post, while I believe this concert was found at the internet archive, since most of The Dead's shows have been officially released, this will be up a week and then gone.  Get it now.
